Agreed: multiple discovery strengthens rather than threatens. My first instinct was "fooled you once…" – the ego protecting its territory. But if the structure is real, independent convergence is exactly what should happen. That's not the idea being diluted. That's the idea being confirmed. How exciting would that be!
And the distributed systems angle is very interesting. A new rabbit hole: stigmergy, swarm intelligence, consensus without coordination, complex adaptive systems. Looking into it.
